Prathiba Musthyala — Oral Health Therapist/Co-Director

Prathiba Musthyala is the co-founder, co-director, and principal Oral Health Therapist at Croydon Dental Clinic, and the driving force behind the practice’s philosophy of prevention-led care. Having built a devoted patient following across both New Zealand and Australia, Prathiba brings exceptional clinical skill and a deeply personal approach to every appointment. Her patients follow her — not just because of the quality of her work, but because of the genuine care she brings to every interaction.

While a dental hygienist is trained specifically in cleaning and preventive care, an Oral Health Therapist completes additional, broader university-level clinical training that qualifies them to perform dental examinations and assessments, carry out professional scaling and cleaning, place fillings and perform basic restorative work, and deliver preventive treatments including fluoride therapy and fissure sealants.
